Wholesale Accounts

We are excited that you are interested in selling the most comfortable fitting products in the world.  In order to maintain the integrity of our products and to provide you with exceptional pricing, we ask that all potential wholesale accounts abide by the following:

  • Represent BikeFit products in a professional manner.
  • Display retail products as part of your shoes, cleats, footbeds…etc., display (if you have retail space).
  • Purchase a minimum of $50 per order.
  • Order $200 of products per year to maintain the pricing level.
  • Do not resell products below our retail pricing (MSRP).
  • Do not sell our products to online resellers.
  • Follow and abide by BikeFit’s MAP Policy

If any of these expectations are not met or violated, BikeFit reserves the right to revoke the wholesale pricing level provided.

Wholesale accounts are provided to bike fitters, studios, bike shops, coaches, and physical therapists who are using BikeFit products for business.

BikeFit Locator Listing

The BikeFit Locator Listing provides retail customers with specific locations where they can acquire at least one of the following:

Due to our high standards, we expect that our dealers will abide by the following terms and conditions to remain listed and in good standing on our website.  Failure to comply with these conditions will result in removal from our dealer locator.  

  • Represent BikeFit products in a professional manner.
  • Show knowledge and understanding of our product line, features, ways in which the products benefit those who use them.
  • Display retail products as part of your shoes, cleats, footbeds…etc., display (if you have retail space).
  • Purchase a minimum of $50 per order (wholesale requirement).
  • Order $250 of products per year.
  • Do not resell products below our retail pricing (MSRP).
  • Do not sell our products to online resellers.
  • Follow and abide by BikeFit’s MAP Policy.
  • Recommended stock products/tools:
    • Spacers = 1.5mm washer and 20mm spacers.
    • Wedges = Cleat Wedges and In The Shoe Wedge.  A minimum of our main products.
    • Tools = A Forefoot Measuring Device and a minimum of some type of alignment tracking. This may be lasers, the BikeFit App, or some other motion capturing device(s).
    • Screws = A well-stocked regular and Speedplay walkable screw kit.

BikeFit Locator Listings are provided to bike fitters, studios, coaches, bike shops, and physical therapists who are using BikeFit products for business. BikeFit Pros who received Level 1 or Level 2 training will receive priority with listing requests. To apply for listing on our locator, please contact support@bikefit.com.

MAP Policy

Policy Overview

As the world’s leading distributor of Bike Fitting Products, BikeFit is focused on maintaining high margins for our dealer network.  In recognition of the investment in time and resources required for our high-quality dealers to provide the level of customer service and product knowledge expected from our customers, BikeFit is committed to enforcing policies which allow our resellers to maintain high-profit margins through the sale of our products.  BikeFit has unilaterally established this Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy that a dealer must follow for the advertising and marketing of BikeFit products.  All BikeFit dealers must agree to the terms and conditions of the following MAP Policy.

BikeFit’s MAP Policy Guidelines for BikeFit Products

MAP pricing for all BikeFit products can be found on our current price list (e-mail info@bikefit.com for a copy) and through your wholesale account at BikeFit.com (Regular Retail Price). All advertised prices must be at or above MAP for all BikeFit products.  Dealers are not required to list prices in advertising.  If a price is listed in an advertisement it must be at or above MAP. Other statements such as “call for price” or “call for quote” are acceptable and permitted.

Dealers are also responsible for ensuring their Bikefit pricing is at or above MAP on internet search engines. Resellers are free to set the actual resale price of any product as long as it is at or above MAP price given the most recent publication of our price list. BikeFit’s MAP policy for all BikeFit products apply to advertising placements, including but not limited to: print ads (inserts, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, mail order catalogs, etc.), broadcast (radio and TV), direct mail, faxes, internet placement with third parties (banner ads, broadcast emails, destination pages, third-party sites), internet placements on resellers own website, and any flyers, posters or coupons.

From time to time, BikeFit may permit resellers to advertise MAP Products at prices lower than the MAP price. In such events, BikeFit reserves the right to modify or suspend the MAP price with respect to the affected products for a specified period of time by providing advance notice to all resellers of such changes.

Pricing Statements

BikeFit’s MAP Policy does allow resellers to omit pricing entirely from advertisements and/or advertisement statements such as “Call for Price” or “Call for Quote.”

Free Offers Associated with BikeFit Product

Free shipping and/or handling, 0% sales tax, or free financing promotions do not violate the MAP.

All BikeFit Products Price Matching Policies

Price matching policies are acceptable.  Price matching cannot be used as a valid reason for violations of BikeFit’s MAP Policy. Advertised price must always be at MAP or higher.

Failure to Comply with the MAP Policy
At the sole discretion of BikeFit, failure to comply with MAP, intentional and/or repeated failure to abide, may result in the immediate loss of Authorized Reseller status and your ability to purchase all BikeFit products both direct as well as through distribution.

BikeFit will utilize the following steps to resolve MAP violations:

*Violations from dealers will need to be corrected within 24 hours of notification.

  1. First Violation:  Dealer’s account will be put on hold temporarily and a written warning will be provided.  MAP violations must be corrected within 24 hours. Upon correction and following 30 days of compliance, the violation will then be cleared.
  2. Second Violation: Dealer’s account will be put on hold for 30 days.
  3. Third Violation:  Dealer’s account will be unauthorized indefinitely.  BikeFit holds sole discretion on whether to reinstate a third-time violator.

*BikeFit does not authorize any seller to resell product on Amazon.com.  BikeFit partners exclusively with Barley Trades LLC.

Policy updates as of 07/24/18–effective as of 01/01/18.

*International wholesale accounts will only be granted to those countries that do not have a BikeFit International Distributor.
